The hatch cover system of a 30,000 T vessel is a large, load-bearing structure requiring absolute watertightness. VHP fabricates it component by component, strictly controlling assembly tolerances to ensure smooth opening/closing operation and a tight seal when installed on the ship.

The construction process is supervised by the internal QC department and registrar representatives at inspection hold points.
